Hands-On Machinists Required – Build Your Career in Steel Manufacturing
Our client is a highly respected, family-run business with decades of experience at the core of the UK steel industry. Known for their expertise across steel processing, machining, conditioning, and logistics, they have built a strong reputation for quality and reliability, and due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their team with additional skilled machinists.
In this role, you will operate a conventional centre lathe to produce high-quality steel components, carrying out precise shaping, cutting, and finishing work to meet technical specifications and customer requirements.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
•Previous experience working within the steel or manufacturing industry
•Hands-on experience operating machinery such as centre lathes, vertical borers, trepanners, milling machines, or saws
•A solid understanding of basic engineering principles
•Good numeracy and literacy skills
•A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
