Machine Operative Wanted – Conventional Centre Lathe – Steel Industry.
Our client, established in 1973, is a family run business that has been trading in the centre of the British steel industry. With over 47 years in the business, they have built a distinguished reputation in the Steel Stockholding, Machining, Steel Conditioning and Transport industries, and are now looking to add additional Machinists to join their team. You will be responsible for operating a conventional centre lathe, responsible for shaping and finishing steel components.
To apply for this role you must have the following.
– Previous experience within the steel industry
– Experience with either centre lathes, vertical boarers, trepanners, mills or saws
– Basic engineering experience
– Numeracy and Literacy competency
– Be a team player and a can do attitude
