Job Description

We have an upcoming opportunity to work with one of the UK’s largest waste management operations.

Based in the Sheffield area, you will be working in small crews, taking responsibility for your own route.

It will be your duty to ensure that the vehicle can manoeuvre around tight spaces, taking into consideration pedestrian and property safety.

You will also be required to check the on-board computer, monitoring the load so it does not exceed the weight limit.

In some circumstances you may be required to assist the loading team at the rear of the vehicle.

Duration: This is an ongoing position offering regular full time hours.

Hourly Rate: The pay rate is between £12.50 p/h and £13.00 p/h PAYE or £15.73 Umbrella. Working through PAYE you will also accrue up to 28 days holiday per year.

Working Hours: You will be required to work Monday to Friday with shifts starting at 06:30. Be prepared for approximatley a 10 hour shift, extra runs maybe required on your return to base.

Experience & Qualifications

To apply for this role, you will need the following:

– A valid UK driving licence with C entitlement.
– A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
– A valid CPC.
– At least 12 months Class 2 driving experience.
– No more than 6 points on licence
– No DD or DR driving convictions

You must be willing to work as part of a busy team and be a good representative for the company.
