Job Description

Are you looking for ongoing full-time driving work? We have a great opportunity available.

You will be collecting fully loaded trailers or arriving with an empty trailer to be loaded at the Pallet Hub.

If collecting a loaded trailer, you will be either running in Solo or running in with an empty trailer to drop and swap or be loaded.

Some waiting will be required whilst at the Regional or National Hub for an allocated collection or loading time, you will know in advance to the use of POA can be applied.

No Manual handling of the load will be required but you may be required to supervise loading and will be required to check the load security and stability before moving off to drop the load.

Duration: This is a long-term ongoing role that could reasonably lead to a permanent position for the right calibre of driver.

Hourly Rate: The pay is between £15.50 and £16 per hour for the first 8 hours or roughly £14.00 per hour with full 28 day per annum Holiday accrual if paid PAYE

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 – 17:00 (less 45 Minute Break daily) Average weekly hours of 46.25 hours

Experience & Qualifications

• Must have an LGV C+E Licence
• Must have a Digital Tacho Card
• Must have a full driver qualification card (DQC or CPC)
• Must be customer facing with good written and spoken ability.
• Must be able to adhere to health and safety policies of both the haulier and their clients.
• Must be willing to wait for up to 4 hours at the Hub, waiting time is paid though.
