Class 1 Trunking

Please note that this position is open to UK applicants only

Job Description

Looking for well-paid Class 1 work without handball? We’re recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join an established transport operation, offering consistent weekday work, straightforward depot-to-depot trunking and approximately 55 hours per week.

With loading and unloading handled by forklift, you can focus on what you do best: driving. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for reliable weekly hours, a competitive hourly rate and ongoing work.

You’ll be responsible for transporting loads safely between depots, completing regional and national trunking routes using curtain-sided trailers.

The role involves straightforward depot-to-depot driving, with loading and unloading carried out by forklift, meaning no manual handling or handballing is required. You’ll need to complete your allocated routes efficiently, carry out vehicle checks and ensure all journeys comply with road transport and working time regulations.

If you enjoy spending your working day on the road and prefer trunking over multi-drop deliveries, this could be the ideal role for you.
