Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for reliable weekday work in Ilkeston? We’re currently recruiting for a professional driver to join an established operation, offering consistent hours and regular delivery work.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for completing deliveries and collections across your allocated routes, ensuring goods are transported safely and arrive within the required timeframes.
The role combines driving with customer-facing delivery work, so you’ll need to be confident working independently, managing your own route and representing the company professionally when dealing with customers.
Your duties will include:
Completing deliveries and collections
Following allocated routes and schedules
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Ensuring goods are transported safely
Managing your own daily workload
Communicating professionally with customers
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you’ll need:
Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
Valid Driver CPC
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience
Good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations
Reliable and professional attitude
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage your daily route
