HGV Class 1 Night Drivers wanted in Chesterfield – Temp to Perm – Trunking
We are looking to recruit HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a well-established family run business in Chesterfield. Duties will include trunking to RDC’s and NDC’s nationwide. Drivers will be required to open a curtain side trailer at the RDC and wait to be loaded with pallets before returning to the depot, no handball.
Drivers will be expected to complete 2 trunk runs per shift.
All drivers will be expected to conduct daily vehicle safety inspections, comply with transport and health & safety regulations, complete all relevant paperwork accurately, and deliver a professional level of service at every customer location.
To be considered for this role you must have the following;
-A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
-A current Driver CPC qualification
-A valid Digital Tachograph Card
-No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
-A minimum of 12 months’ Class 1 driving experience
-At least 180 days of commercial driving experience within a professional driving environment
