HGV Class 2 Drivers Wanted in Chesterfield – Temp to Perm – Great opportunity to join a fantastic family run business
We are looking to recruit HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a well-established family run business in Chesterfield. Duties will include multidrop delivery of palletised goods to customers throughout South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. Drivers will be expected to either open a curtain side trailer and wait to be unloaded or offload pallets using a pump truck and tail lift.
All drivers will be expected to carry out daily vehicle safety inspections, adhere to all transport and health & safety regulations, complete delivery documentation accurately, and maintain a professional and courteous approach when interacting with customers.
To be considered for thsi role you must have the following
-A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
-A current Driver CPC qualification
-A valid Digital Tachograph Card
-No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
-A minimum of 12 months’ Class 2 driving experience
-A solid commercial driving background with the ability to work confidently and efficiently from day one
