Are you looking for a new role to demonstrate your skills as a Production Operative?
We are seeking an experienced Production Operative to join a small, vibrant and busy manufacturing team based in Hinckley (LE10).
The successful candidate will play an important role within the production facility, supporting the manufacture, handling, quality checking and packaging of goods. You will be expected to work efficiently and safely while following production procedures and instructions.
You can expect the following daily tasks:
– Operating production machinery, using hand tools and manufacturing goods
– Reading / processing barcodes, purchase orders and material orders
– Preparing, handling and moving raw materials
– Sampling and quality checking products
– Packing, wrapping and palletising the finished goods
– Stock takes, identifying incorrect products/ procedures and keeping a clean work environment
– Meeting production targets.
Requirments:
– Previous manufacturing experience
– Use of hand tools and machinery
– Happy working with raw materials
– Good written and spoken English to ensure accurate understanding of instructions
– Ability to spot anomalies and rectify accordingly
– Great attention to detail, understanding of health & safety and communicate effectively.
