Your main duties will include:
• Supervise and allocate work across the General Assembly team.
• Assemble pumps and support production across different areas when required.
• Operate and carry out basic set-up of machinery.
• Coordinate with warehouse, office and other internal departments.
• Assist with picking, labelling, pallet preparation and returning materials.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow company procedures, SOPs and health & safety requirements.
• Report hazards, near misses and other safety concerns.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving efficiency.
• Train, guide and coach team members, leading by example.
• Complete other reasonable duties associated with the role.
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated person with experience in manufacturing, production or a similar environment. You should have good communication skills, basic IT knowledge and be comfortable using scanners or scan guns.
Experience of supervising or supporting a team would be useful, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key. You should be organised, able to manage different tasks, pay close attention to detail and work well both independently and as part of a team. You’ll need to be confident following procedures, working safely and supporting others to achieve high standards.
