Immediate starts available! We’re currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join an established operation in Newark, offering regular Monday-to-Friday work and consistent full-time hours.
This position is ideal for drivers who are comfortable with early starts and don’t mind getting involved with some physical work during their shift.
The Role
You’ll begin your day completing up to three local collections from businesses around the Newark area before travelling to Fradley Park to complete the trunk run.
The role includes some manual handling and handballing, so you’ll need to be physically comfortable with these duties and able to maintain a good pace throughout the working day.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you’ll need:
Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Valid Driver CPC
No DR, DD or CD endorsements within the last 5 years
Must be 23 or over due to insurance requirements
Comfortable with manual handling and handball duties
Reliable and professional approach to work
Good timekeeping and attendance
