Looking for a reliable Class 1 driving role with regular night shifts, straightforward trunking work, and consistent Monday to Friday hours? We’re currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a well-established transport operation based in the Belper / Ambergate area.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing, full-time work where you can focus on driving without the physical demands of manual unloading.
As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you’ll be completing pallet network trunking runs between depots, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently as part of a well-organised operation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Completing depot-to-depot trunking runs
Transporting goods safely and on schedule
Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
Complying with road transport legislation and company procedures
Following all Health & Safety requirements
This is a straightforward driving role with no multi-drop deliveries and no handballing, making it ideal for drivers who prefer consistent trunking work.
A valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
A valid Driver CPC qualification
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience
Trunking or pallet network experience is advantageous
