HGV technician required in Leicester!
We are currently seeking an experienced HGV technician to join our client’s team.
You will play a vital role in ensuring the fleet remains safe, effective, roadworthy, compliant, and operational.
In this role, you will be:
• Carrying out service, maintenance, and repair work on HGVs to the highest standards.
• Diagnosing and correct vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Performing safety inspections, MOT preparations, and routine maintenance.
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with manufacturer standards.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
Applicants for this role are required to have:

• Full HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Experience of working with HGVs or commercial vehicles
• Experience in tail lift, fridge, and bodywork repairs is advantageous
• Valid UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)
• A very strong understanding of HGV maintenance practices, health & safety regulations, and transport legislation.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks accordingly
• Good communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
