Looking for dependable Class 2 driving work with early finishes, regular Monday to Friday hours, and the opportunity to secure a long-term position? We’re currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a busy Refuse and Recycling operation.
This is a great opportunity for drivers who enjoy working as part of a team and are looking for consistent weekday work with the potential to move into a permanent role.
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you’ll be responsible for operating refuse collection vehicles and completing residential and commercial waste and recycling collections.
You’ll work alongside a team of up to three loaders who will support with collections throughout the day. While driving is your main responsibility, you’ll also be expected to assist with loading when required, so a practical and team-focused attitude is important.
To be considered for this role, you’ll need:
A valid UK Driving Licence with Category C entitlement
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
A valid Driver CPC Card
Previous refuse or waste collection driving experience is advantageous
No more than 3 penalty points on your driving licence
