Looking for reliable Class 1 driving work with no heavy lifting, consistent weekday hours, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position? We are recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers to join a long-established, family-run logistics business delivering palletised goods across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering palletised loads to customers throughout the local region. There is no handballing involved, as customers will unload the vehicle using their own equipment. Your role will simply involve opening the vehicle curtains to allow unloading to take place.
Before leaving the depot each day, you will complete routine vehicle safety checks and ensure all relevant delivery paperwork is completed accurately. This is straightforward trunking and delivery work with the support of an experienced and friendly transport team.
To be considered, you must have held your HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence for at least 12 months and have completed a minimum of 180 days’ commercial Class 1 driving experience.
