We’re recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a well-established transport operation based in the Belper/Ambergate area. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing, full-time work with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, allowing you to focus on driving without the demands of manual unloading.
The Role
You’ll be completing pallet network trunking runs between depots, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently as part of a well-organised operation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Completing depot-to-depot trunking deliveries
Transporting goods safely and on schedule
Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
Complying with all road transport legislation and company procedures
Following all Health & Safety guidelines
This is a straightforward driving role with no multi-drop deliveries and no handballing, making it ideal for drivers who prefer consistent trunking work.
Requirements
To be considered, you’ll need:
A valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
A valid Driver CPC qualification
A valid digital tachograph card
Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience
Trunking or pallet network experience is advantageous
