An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a growing transport operation based in Sheffield. Our client is a respected family-owned business and valued member of The Pallet Network (TPN), delivering reliable distribution services to customers across the construction, retail, and manufacturing sectors throughout the UK.
This is a hands-on driving role involving the delivery of palletised freight to customers across South Yorkshire. Drivers will be responsible for safely unloading goods using a tail lift and electric pump truck while maintaining excellent customer service standards. For those seeking variety, there are also opportunities to undertake PM trunking runs within the wider transport operation.
As part of your daily duties, you will be required to complete vehicle safety inspections before each shift, ensure deliveries are carried out safely and efficiently, and accurately complete all relevant transport documentation in accordance with company procedures and compliance requirements.
You must have:
-A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
-A valid Digital Tachograph Card
-A Driver CPC qualification
-No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
Applicants must also have held their Class 1 licence for at least 12 months and be confident operating in a fast-paced transport environment, demonstrating a professional attitude and strong commitment to road safety and compliance.
