CLASS 2 DRIVERS WANTED – EASY TRUNKING, NO HANDBALL & GREAT RATES
An excellent opportunity has become available for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a leading UK logistics operation specialising in temperature-controlled distribution. Supporting major food suppliers and distribution networks nationwide, this role offers ongoing work, immediate starts, and a straightforward workload.
As a Class 2 Driver, you’ll be responsible for transporting chilled and ambient products between depots, distribution centres, and RDCs across the UK. This is predominantly trunking work, making it ideal for drivers who prefer longer-distance driving and minimal customer interaction.
With no handball involved, drivers simply reverse onto loading bays and wait while site teams complete the loading and unloading process. Most shifts consist of 1–2 runs, providing a manageable workload and a structured working day.
All drivers will be expected to complete daily vehicle safety inspections, ensure full compliance with transport regulations, and accurately complete all relevant transport paperwork in accordance with company procedures.
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must have:
– A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
– A current Digital Tachograph Card
– A valid Driver CPC qualification
– No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence
