CLASS 1 DRIVERS WANTED – EASY TRUNKING WORK, GREAT PAY & IMMEDIATE STARTS
An excellent opportunity has become available for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a busy and expanding transport operation. Offering ongoing work, modern vehicles, and consistent weekly hours, this role is ideal for drivers looking for straightforward driving work and long-term stability.
As a Class 1 Driver, you’ll be responsible for transporting freight between distribution centres, customer locations, and operational hubs across the UK. Working to planned schedules, you’ll play a key role in ensuring goods are moved safely, efficiently, and delivered on time.
This role is primarily trunking work with no handball required. Daily duties include coupling and uncoupling trailers, booking in at customer sites, and supervising loading and unloading activities. Drivers can typically expect to complete between 1 and 3 collections or deliveries per shift, providing a manageable workload and structured working day.
All drivers will be expected to complete daily vehicle safety inspections, operate in line with transport legislation and company procedures, and accurately complete all relevant transport paperwork and documentation.
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must have:
– A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
– A current Digital Tachograph Card
– A valid Driver CPC qualification
– No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence
