Earn More as a Class 1 Driver – Immediate Starts Available
You will play a key role in transporting goods safely and efficiently between distribution centres, customer sites, and business locations across the UK. This role involves completing planned collections and deliveries, ensuring all loads are transported securely and on schedule.
The position is primarily trunking work, with no manual handling required. Drivers will be responsible for coupling and uncoupling trailers, booking in at sites, and waiting while vehicles are loaded or unloaded. Typically, you can expect to complete between 1 and 3 collections or deliveries per shift.
All drivers will be expected to carry out daily vehicle checks, comply with transport legislation, and complete all relevant paperwork in line with company procedures and industry standards.
What you’ll need:
-A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
-A current Digital Tachograph Card
-A valid Driver CPC qualification
-No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence
You’ll also need a professional approach to driving, a good understanding of drivers’ hours regulations, and the ability to complete deliveries safely and efficiently.
