Class 1 Drivers Wanted – Great Pay, Ongoing Work & Immediate Starts Available
Join a leading manufacturer supplying the construction industry, offering stable, long-term work for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers.
This is a straightforward driving role delivering products to builders’ merchants, construction sites, and commercial customers across the UK, with a consistent workload and well-planned routes.
You’ll typically complete between 4–8 drops per shift in a curtain-sided vehicle. The role involves minimal physical work, with drivers mainly assisting by opening and closing curtains during unloading.
As part of your daily duties, you’ll carry out pre-use vehicle checks, maintain high safety standards, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
What you’ll need to apply:
• A valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• A current Driver CPC qualification
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• At least 12 months of Class 1 driving experience
• A minimum of 180 days’ commercial driving experience, ensuring you’re confident, capable, and ready to get started from day one
