QS Recruitment is supporting a fast-growing, technology-led logistics business with the recruitment of several Warehouse Shift Manager across sites in Nottingham
.

About You
We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Shift Manager or Warehouse Team Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You’ll have:
• Previous warehouse leadership experience
• Experience managing large operational teams
• Strong people management and coaching skills
• Confidence using KPIs and performance data to improve operations
• A proactive, hands-on management style
• The ability to make decisions and solve problems under pressure

Experience within highly automated or e-commerce warehouse operations would be advantageous.

The Role

As Warehouse Shift Manager, based in Nottingham, you’ll take responsibility for leading a busy warehouse operation during your shift, ensuring productivity, service levels and safety standards are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities include:
• Leading and motivating teams of up to 50 warehouse operatives
• Managing day-to-day warehouse operations to meet performance targets
• Monitoring KPIs and using operational data to drive improvements
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members
• Promoting a positive health & safety culture
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and service levels
• Working closely with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the operation
