Quality Control Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and organised Quality Control Officer to support a busy operation during a key seasonal period.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous Quality Control experience, preferably within the seed or agricultural sector, although full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carrying out quality control checks and inspections
• Accurately recording findings and maintaining documentation
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and management
• Following procedures and quality standards
• Using initiative to identify and resolve issues where appropriate

Hourly Rate: This position pays £12.85 per hour with overtime paid at time and a half for all hours worked over 40 per week. Please note we do not offer sponsorship.
Working Hours: The role is Monday to Friday, start time between 08:30 and 9am, days can be up to 12 hours

Experience & Qualifications

You will need:
• Previous Quality Control experience
• Seed or agricultural industry experience would be advantageous
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
• Reliable and committed approach to work
