Our client is seeking a full-time on-site Pressbrake Operator located in the Nottingham/Mansfield Area. The role involves operating and maintaining the CNC Press Brake machine to fabricate metal components with precision. Daily tasks include interpreting technical drawings, setting up and calibrating machinery, inspecting finished parts for quality, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. The operator will collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and support operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will require
– Proficiency in the operation and setup of CNC Press Brake machines
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
– Experience in metal fabrication and knowledge of different material properties (e.g., stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, copper, and brass)
– Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment
– Understanding of workplace safety standards and best practices
– Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
