Transport Planner I Nottingham I £27,000 to £32,000 (Temp to Perm)

We are recruiting for an experienced Transport Planner to join a well established, highly respected environmental and waste management operation based in Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised Transport Planner in Nottingham who enjoys working in a fast paced transport environment and has experience planning routes for artics and Ro-Ro (Roll on/Roll off) vehicles.

This role offers genuine long term opportunity, with temp to perm progression, strong training and development support, and an excellent benefits package once permanent. If you are a capable, computer-literate Transport Planner with experience using TMS, we would love to hear from you.

– Strong route planning and scheduling capability
– Confident IT user with excellent attention to detail

Job Details
– Planning and scheduling daily transport routes across Nottingham
– Optimising routes to maximise efficiency and service delivery
– Liaising with drivers and operations teams to ensure smooth daily execution
– Managing changes, issues and last minute adjustments to the plan
