Job roles may include:-
– Handling produce, using knife skills to prepare vegetables there can be separating florets of broccoli/cauliflower, slicing sweet potatoes into wedges, removing the cores from peppers etc.
– Checking, washing and preparing delicate vegetables to the required standards and processes.
– Processing by hand prepared root crop vegetables into bags up to 10kg in weight.
– Inspecting and sorting peeled root crop vegetables to meet customer requirements.
– Packing orders to meet customer requirements, pallet banding/wrapping.
Previous experience working in a warehouse
Would be advantageous to have worked in a similar environment but not essential
The envirnment is very cold.
