We are seeking multiple proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineers to support the Engineering Team in delivering a robust maintenance program across our pet food production facility. This role is key to ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform daily planned, predictive, and condition-based maintenance on production equipment.
– Provide rapid response to breakdowns and support production teams to minimize downtime.
– Assist with project work, improvement initiatives, and contractor management.
– Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and site standards.
– Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and safety incidents.
– Support training and development of self and others within the team.
– Promote efficient use of engineering stores and control maintenance costs.
– Collaborate closely with production teams to drive performance and reliability.
– Uphold high standards of hygiene, housekeeping, and technical documentation.
– Must have both Mechanical and electrical experience level 3 (Apprentice trained or relevant engineering qualifications.)
