This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys being out on the road, is comfortable dealing with customers and wants a consistent Monday-to-Friday working routine.
You’ll be responsible for completing deliveries and collections, making sure goods reach their destinations safely and within the required timeframes.
Your duties will include following allocated routes, loading and unloading the vehicle where required and ensuring deliveries are handled correctly.
You’ll also carry out routine vehicle checks, report any defects and maintain a professional and helpful approach when dealing with customers.
You must hold a valid full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
Previous van driving or delivery experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
You’ll need a reliable and professional attitude, good timekeeping and the ability to work independently. Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach are also important.
