You’ll be responsible for completing deliveries and collections across your allocated routes, ensuring goods are transported safely and arrive within the required timeframes.
The role combines driving with customer-facing responsibilities, giving you the independence to manage your own route while representing the company professionally at each delivery point.
Your duties will include following allocated routes and schedules, carrying out vehicle checks, ensuring loads are secure and managing your daily workload efficiently.
You’ll also communicate with customers throughout your deliveries and maintain high standards of road safety at all times.
You must hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 licence with Category C+E entitlement, a valid Driver CPC Card and a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience is essential. You’ll also need a good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations, along with a reliable and professional attitude.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently, manage your route efficiently and provide good customer service are important for this role.
