Looking for a reliable Class 1 driving role with regular weekday hours and a consistent routine? We’re recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers in Grantham for an established operation offering ongoing work and regular daytime shifts.
If you enjoy being out on the road, managing your own deliveries and providing a professional service to customers, this could be a great opportunity for your next driving role.
You’ll be responsible for completing deliveries and collections across your allocated routes, ensuring goods are transported safely and arrive within the required timeframes.
The role combines driving with customer-facing responsibilities, so you’ll need to be comfortable working independently while representing the company professionally at each delivery point.
You’ll follow allocated routes and schedules, carry out daily vehicle checks, ensure loads are secure and manage your workload efficiently throughout the day.
You must hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 licence with Category C+E entitlement, a valid Driver CPC Card and a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience is essential. You’ll also need a good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations, a reliable and professional approach and strong communication skills.
The ability to work independently, manage your routes efficiently and provide excellent customer service is important.
