We are recruiting Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join a busy temperature-controlled warehouse and distribution operation in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for consistent weekday work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Job Description
Your responsibilities will include:
• Operating a counterbalance forklift to move palletised goods safely around the warehouse.
• Loading and unloading deliveries and transport vehicles.
• Moving stock into designated storage areas and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Assisting with warehouse duties, including picking and checking goods.
• Handling chilled and temperature-sensitive products in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation and food hygiene.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
Previous warehouse and Counterbalance FLT experience is essential. A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is required.
Experience working in a chilled warehouse or handling food products would be advantageous.
