Our client specialises in supplying pre-chopped vegetables to retailers, and you’ll be working within the bagging department, helping get products packaged and ready for distribution.
What will the role involve?
Scooping prepared vegetable products into bags.
Filling bags to the required quantities.
Sealing bags securely.
Applying labels to finished products.
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
Keeping up with production targets.
Important – Physical Requirements:
This is a hands-on and physically demanding role. Some products can weigh up to 20kg, so candidates must be comfortable with manual handling and lifting as part of their daily duties.
No previous production experience required.
A previous working background with transferable skills.
Comfortable with repetitive tasks.
Happy working in a busy production environment.
Comfortable with the physical demands and manual handling involved.
Good awareness of food hygiene and safety standards.
