We are looking for reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers in the Rotherham area – Immediate starts available – Full Time and Part Time Hours Available.
Our client, specialise in reliable pallet distribution and flexible warehouse solutions tailored to meet the needs of businesses across the UK and beyond. Whether it is moving single pallets or full loads, their efficient logistics service ensures goods are delivered safely and on time. They are now looking to add additional HGV Class 2 Drivers to their team in Rotherham.
Duties will include driving a curtain side vehicle delivering pallets to customers throughout the South Yorkshire area. Drivers will be required to open a curtain side trailer and wait to be unloaded or off load pallets using a pump truck and tail lift. Average 8-12 drops per shift.
All drivers will be expected to carry out daily vehicle safety inspections, adhere to all transport and health & safety regulations, complete delivery documentation accurately, and maintain a professional and courteous approach when interacting with customers.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
-A valid HGV Class 2 (C) driving licence
-A valid Driver CPC qualification
-A Digital Tachograph Card in date
-No more than 6 points on your licence
In addition, applicants should have solid driving experience, including at least 12 months operating Class 1 vehicles
You should also have a minimum of 180 days’ hands-on commercial driving experience, ensuring you are confident, safe, and able to step straight into the role with ease.
