Assembly Operatives wanted for ongoing work in a busy manufacturing environment!
We’re currently recruiting Assembly Operatives to join a hands-on production team assembling roll cages and supporting the manufacturing process.
This is an ongoing temporary position offering Monday-to-Friday hours, 40 hours per week and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.
The Role
Your main responsibility will be the assembly of roll cages, working as part of a production line where different stages of the cage assembly process are completed by different members of the team.
Depending on the production area, you may be responsible for fitting wheels, assembling sections of the cage and passing completed components to the next stage for further assembly.
During busy periods, production targets can reach around 110–120 cages per person per day, so you’ll need to be comfortable working at a steady pace while maintaining a good standard of work.
The role can involve some manual handling, with items weighing up to approximately 10kg. There may also be occasions where you are asked to support other areas of the business, including helping with forklift duties where required.

Previous production or assembly experience is advantageous but not essential
