Class 1 Drivers wanted for ongoing weekday work! We’re currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for an established logistics operation, delivering palletised goods across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.
If you’re looking for regular driving work without the physical demands of handballing, this could be a great opportunity. Customers handle the unloading, allowing you to focus on driving and completing your route safely.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering palletised goods to customers across the region.
At each delivery, your main responsibility will be to open the curtains on the trailer, allowing the customer to unload the goods using their own equipment.
Before setting off, you’ll also be expected to complete the necessary vehicle safety checks and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately.
This is a straightforward driving role with regular weekday hours and support from an experienced transport team.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you’ll need:
Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
Licence held for a minimum of 1 year
At least 180 days’ commercial driving experience
Full UK Driver CPC
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
No more than 6 penalty points
Reliable and professional approach to work
Good timekeeping and safe driving standards
