We are looking for a General Assembly Team Leader to join our client’s manufacturing team in Leicester where you will supervise and support a team of assembly operatives while also working hands-on with production.
Your duties will include pump assembly, operating basic machinery, supporting warehouse activities and making sure work is completed safely and to a good standard. You will also help train and support team members, organise daily workloads, maintain a clean and safe workplace, and work with other departments to keep production running smoothly.
The role also involves following company procedures, reporting any safety concerns and supporting improvements to efficiency and production.
Requirments:
– You must have experience in a manufacturing or production role
– GCSE-level education or equivalent, strong spoken and written English and basic IT skills
– Team leader experience would be a big advantage
– Good organisation, attention to detail and problem solving
– You must be able to handle competing tasks while keeping yourself and team running smoothly
– Reliable, positive minded, and committed team player.
