A well-established business in Hinckley is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their small, friendly team.
This is a newly created Warehouse Supervisor role offering plenty of autonomy and the opportunity to make a genuine difference. You’ll oversee a small warehouse team while taking ownership of picking, goods-in, packing, stock control and the day-to-day running of the warehouse.
There is also an opportunity to improve and reorganise the warehouse layout and stock locations, putting better processes in place and helping the operation run more efficiently.
The Role
• Manage and support a small team of warehouse operatives.
• Oversee goods-in, picking, packing, dispatch and stock control.
• Improve warehouse layout, stock locations and working processes.
• Carry out stock checks and investigate discrepancies.
• Complete quality checks and ensure orders are accurate.
• Use Sage to maintain accurate stock records.
• Attend weekly and monthly planning meetings.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and housekeeping.

About You
We’re looking for someone with previous warehouse supervisory or senior warehouse experience, who is comfortable managing people and taking ownership of an operation.
You should be organised, hands-on and confident identifying areas for improvement. Sage experience would be advantageous, although experience with other stock or warehouse systems will be considered.
