Job Description

MULTIPLE PERMANENT ROLES AVAILABLE – MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT

You will be joining a leading and innovative manufacturing business as a Production Operative, required to assist in the manufacture of high reliability connectors, cable assemblies and interconnect systems used across a variety of industries worldwide.

All the items are bespoke, created to the client’s exact requirements, this means that attention to detail is paramount. You must have the ability to concentrate for periods at a time to ensure perfection in every item.

In addition to the assembly work, you will carry out in-process inspections and quality checks and to ensure products meet exacting standards

Due to the complexity of this role training will be given based in Mansfield. Once this has been completed you will transfer to your permanent role in Annesley. Throughout this training you will have the opportunity to develop specialist assembly and inspection skills in a supportive environment.

It is vital that you maintain high standards of quality and safety at all points of the assembly process.

Duration: This is a permanent role. Initially you will work through QS Recruitment (full time, entirely managed by our client). After 6 months you will transfer to be a direct employee of the client and enjoy the numerous benefits, perks, bonusses and pay increases.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hourly Rate: The rate of pay for this role starts at £13.38 per hour, following your probationay period you will become eligible to receive pay increases and bonusses. Average expected pay rates will be in excess of £15 per hour within the first year
Working Hours: You will work 40 hours per week but have the benefit of being able to choose the hours that suit you. You can choose to work any hours between the times of 06:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday.

Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:-

• HAVE THEIR OWN TRANSPORT – with the ability to travel to both Mansfield (NG18) and Annesley (NG15)
• HAVE A SOLID WORK HISTORY demonstrating the ability to remain within one role for a period of time
• Possess excellent attention to detail skills
• Possess good dexterity
• Be able to maintain concentration
• Have good communication skills
• Be able to work effectively in a team.

Assembly/production experience is not essential as full training will be given
