Looking for a driving role with early finishes, regular weekday hours, and the opportunity to move into a permanent position? We’re recruiting experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join a well-established waste and recycling operation based in Alfreton.
As a member of the refuse collection team, you’ll be responsible for driving scheduled routes across Derbyshire, collecting household and commercial waste in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
Working alongside a team of loaders, you’ll help ensure all collections are completed on time while following company procedures and maintaining high safety standards throughout your shift.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
A valid UK Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) Driving Licence
A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
Previous experience driving a 7.5 Tonne vehicle is preferred
A good understanding of drivers’ hours regulations and road transport legislation
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
A dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach to work
A good level of physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
