TAKE THE WHEEL OF A STRESS-FREE DRIVING ROLE – NO HANDBALL, REGULAR TRUNKING & START IMMEDIATELY
An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a major UK logistics provider operating within the temperature-controlled distribution sector. Delivering essential goods across an extensive nationwide network, this company is renowned for its efficient operations, modern fleet, and commitment to supporting its drivers with consistent, ongoing work.
As a Class 2 Driver, you’ll be responsible for completing trunking runs between depots, RDCs, and distribution hubs across the UK, transporting chilled and ambient products safely and efficiently. This role is ideally suited to drivers who enjoy straightforward driving work, as routes are pre-planned and customer interaction is kept to a minimum.
With no manual handling duties required, drivers simply arrive at site, reverse onto a loading bay, and allow warehouse teams to complete all loading and unloading activities. Most shifts involve just one or two runs, creating a manageable workload and helping drivers maintain a steady and structured working day.
Drivers will be expected to conduct comprehensive vehicle safety checks before each shift, operate in full accordance with transport legislation and driver hours regulations, and ensure all transport documentation is completed accurately. A professional attitude and commitment to safety are essential at all times.
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:
– Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
– Possess a current Digital Tachograph Card
– Hold a valid Driver CPC qualification
– Have no more than 6 penalty points on their driving licence
We’re seeking dependable and professional drivers who take pride in their work and maintain high standards on every shift. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to road safety, compliance, and punctuality, while being confident working independently across a variety of routes. A positive attitude, excellent time management skills, and a reliable approach are essential, as drivers will play an important role in ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently, and in line with all company and legislative requirements.
