HGV Class 2 Drivers Wanted – Full-Time Work – Excellent Rates of Pay
Looking for a reliable HGV Class 2 role with long-term prospects? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading UK manufacturer that supplies the construction sector nationwide, offering consistent work, excellent rates of pay, and immediate starts for professional HGV Class 2 Drivers.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for transporting products to builders’ merchants, construction sites, and commercial customers across the country. Deliveries are well-planned and organised, providing drivers with a structured workload and efficient routes throughout the working week.
Drivers typically complete between 4 and 8 deliveries per shift using modern curtain-sided vehicles. Manual handling is kept to a minimum, with duties generally limited to opening and securing vehicle curtains during loading and unloading operations.
All drivers will be expected to conduct daily vehicle safety inspections, comply with transport and health & safety regulations, complete all relevant paperwork accurately, and deliver a professional level of service at every customer location.
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:
-A valid HGV Class 2 (C) Driving Licence
-A current Driver CPC qualification
-A valid Digital Tachograph Card
-No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
-A minimum of 12 months Class 2 driving experience
-At least 180 days of commercial driving experience within a professional driving environment
