HGV CLASS 1 DRIVERS WANTED – NATIONWIDE RDC WORK – NO HANDBALL

You will be working for a leading UK specialist in temperature-controlled transport and dedicated distribution services. The company operates nationwide, supporting major food suppliers and delivering into supermarket RDCs and NDCs across the UK.

As a Class 1 Driver, your role will involve collecting chilled and frozen food products from suppliers and delivering to RDCs and NDCs nationwide. All work is trunking and RDC-based, with no handball required – simply reversing onto bays for loading and unloading. Drivers can expect to complete 1–2 collections and deliveries per shift on average.

All drivers will be required to carry out vehicle checks before each shift and complete all relevant paperwork in line with company procedures.

Hourly Rate: Pay rates for this role are structured as follows: £18.00 per hour for weekday day shifts (Monday to Friday) £19.00 per hour for weekday night shifts (Monday to Friday) £20.00 per hour for Saturday work £21.00 per hour for Sunday shifts

Working Hours: A wide range of start times and rota patterns are on offer, covering both day and night work across a full 24/7 operation. Additional shifts are regularly available at weekends for those wanting to maximise their hours.

Experience & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:

-Hold a valid C+E (Class 1) licence
-Carry a Digital Tachograph (Driver Card)
-Have a Driver CPC qualification that is current
-Maintain a good driving record with no more than 6 penalty points
