HGV CLASS 2 DRIVERS WANTED – IMMEDIATE START – SHEFFIELD
Our client established itself in 1946 as a full load steel haulier, but with local steel production falling in the 1980’s, the company moved towards a more flexible groupage offering.with the business expanding with the acquisition of the 3 acre Birley Vale site. They then became a shareholding member of the Palletline network in 1995, enabling the business to offer an even broader range of services to both new and existing customers. As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the delivery of palletised goods to customers throughout the South Yorkshire area. You will be responsible for offloading pallets using a tail lift and pump truck at each customer.
All drivers will be expected to carry out vehicle checks prior to deliveries and complete all paperwork in line with company guidelines.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following,
– HGV Class 2 Licence
– Digital tacho card
– A full UK CPC
– No more than 6 points on your licence
You must also have held your licence for a minimum of 1 year
