We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 (HGV) Refuse Driver to work within the Metheringham area, supporting local waste collection services.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient collection of household waste, working as part of a team to keep the community clean and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
– Driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle on planned residential routes.
Assisting loaders with the collection of household waste when required. (Not often)
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
Ensuring all collections are completed safely and in line withregulations
Providing a professional and courteous service to the public
Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Previous experience in refuse driving or a similar role preferred, but not essential
Good level of physical fitness (due to the nature of the role)
Strong team player with a positive attitude
