Job Description
The duties within this Class 1 role include
• Completing temperature controlled deliveries
• Sealing and unsealing back doors
• Monitoring the refrigeration unit
• Reporting temperature issues to the depot
• Trunking to RDC or NDC, no multi drop
• Coupling and uncoupling trailers
• Supervising unloading / loading (no Manual Handling)
• Maintaining delivery records
Hourly Rate: This position offers an hourly wage of £16.43, with overtime paid at £21.85 per hour for any hours worked beyond 48 in a single week. You will also accrue up to 28 days of holiday pro rata.
Alternatively, the hourly rate of pay is £19.88 standard and £26.43 overtime if paid by our nominated Umbrella Provider.

Working Hours: Your working hours are flexible to your own circumstances. With a range of starting times between 11:00 and 15:00 averaging 10 to 12 hours per day.

Experience & Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will need:
– A full UK Drivers Licence with a C+E entitlement.
– A minimum of 12 months continuous experience driving articulated lorries in the UK
– a Digital Tacho Card (Digicard)
– a valid Driver CPC Card
– a strong and coherent understanding of driver’s working hours and working time directive.
You must not have anymore than 6 points on your licence.
