Salary: £42,500 to £45,000 + Company Car/Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Transport Manager for a national company in their Nottingham site. You will oversee the transport operation across Nottinghamshire, playing a key role in ensuring legal compliance, operational efficiency and first-class service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
– Full responsibility for the transport function covering Nottinghamshire, with potential for wider East region oversight
– Ensure full O’Licence compliance, adherence to transport legislation and internal operating procedures
– Oversee all fleet maintenance, ensuring best value, legal compliance and vehicle availability
– Work closely with finance teams to support P&L reporting, forecasting and CAPEX planning
– Liaise with regulatory bodies such as the HSE and the Transport Ministry
– Lead and manage transport staff, including recruitment, performance reviews and disciplinary processes
– Attend operational meetings and provide cover for the General Manager when required
– Drive a culture of continuous improvement, challenging current processes to improve efficiency and service delivery

– CPC qualification (essential)
– Strong understanding of Transport, Health & Safety and Environmental legislation
– Confident leader with the ability to motivate teams, influence change and work independently
