The starting salary is £20,000 per annum with an uncapped commision structure allowign earnings in excess of £50,000

Working hours:

Working Monday to Friday working 8.30 till 5pm. A 37.5 Hour Week

Job Description

An upcoming and bespoke automotive parts supply company whom whole to manufactures and the public alike are growing at a rapid pace and are looking to expand the sales team. This family ran business whom have been established over 20 years are bespoke in their area and are looking to really looking to establish themselves as the UKs number one producer and supplier in their field.

The key aspect of the role will be as follows

•To provide assistance and quotations to customers contacting us by phone, email, live chat, parts finder services and face to face
•To log all quotations and requests on the customer/stock control system
•To convert quotations into sales
•To make outbound calls to chase up quotations generated by self or by other members of the sales team.
•To seek new customers by cold calling from databases or internet

Along with the key aspects, the following general duties are included

•To manage accounts by keeping in touch with repeat customers and managing their needs
• To maintain sales order paperwork in a traceable manner utilizing the customer/stock control system
•To send out marketing materials/mailings and to record these on the customer/stock control system
•To deal with queries and problems promptly and appropriately, seeking assistance where required
•To provide a level of cover for other members of sales team whilst on holiday


Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate would have the following skill set and experiences •Communication Skills – The ability to communicate with people at all levels, providing clarity and gaining trust •Team Skills – The ability to work with teams and individuals to ensure effective and professional working relationships are developed and maintained •Customer Service Skills – The ability to both recognize and deliver excellent customer service, willing to go ‘the extra mile’ to provide customers with a lasting positive impression •Problem Solving Skills – The ability to identify and resolve problems in a manner that enhances the business and drives results •IT Skills – The ability to use technology to save time and deliver a professional service •Good level of Maths and English (A-C Grades - G.C.S.E ) •Along with these skills and experience, the ideal candidate would have the following traits and attitudes towards aspects of the job • To have a commercial awareness of how your role and how you perform impacts on the business. • To carry out all of your duties being respectful of all other members of staff that you work alongside and/or come into contact with, whether they are present or not. •To be aware of your conduct and actions when customers are present ensuring that you always present a professional and helpful impression •Ability to close a deal/sale
