Hourly Rate:

This role pays £11.42 per hour for hours worked. £15.00 per hour for limited company drivers

Working hours:

This role will involve working a Monday to Friday week starting at around 06:00 daily. Shifts are normally 10 – 12 hours.

Job Description

Class 1 drivers required for prestigious client in Sheffield to do night trunking. This role will require you to take a full load from the depo to another depo where you will be unloaded and the reloaded with a load to come back to site with. Must always ensure that the loads are safe and secure prior to departure at each destination point. The driver is responsible for pre departure checks of the vehicle, to ensure all loads are secured safely and that all paperwork is signed for and completed.

Experience & Qualifications

To apply for this role you must hold a valid class 1 driving licence, a registered digital tachograph card and the drivers CPC qualification. 2 years’ experience in class 1 driver is essential. Must be well presented, good customer skills and have a good working attitude.
