Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm
About the Role:
An engineering company in Leicester are looking for a Steel Fabricator to join their team. As the ideal candidate you will be responsible for reading technical drawings, measuring, cutting, welding and assembling steel components to precise specifications.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in steel fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in welding and metalworking techniques.
• Competent with fabrication tools and machinery.
• Physical ability to handle materials and work in a workshop environment.
• Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship (desirable).
Benefits:
• £15.50 – £16.50 per hour.
• Overtime is time and 1/4 after 42.5 hrs, after 47 hrs time and 1/2.

Steel Fabricator Requirements
• Proven experience as a Steel Fabricator.
• Background in structural steel / architectural metalwork.
• Confident reading and interpreting fabrication drawings.
• Strong jig work and setting-out ability.
