About the Business:
Our client is a food manufacturer based in Lincoln, focused on a fresh potato business while continuing to build on the success of their innovative prepared vegetable ranges.
About The Role:
To ensure all production targets are met, be able to operate machinery and equipment whilst ensuring compliance with all specifications, policies and procedures. Lead the training and development of new team members.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Full ownership of your line including problem and resolution and improvement ideas
· Ensure personal compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
· Ensure all records are maintained in a legible and timely manner
· Maintain a ‘clean as you go’ policy for your line
· Ensure prepped and packed products meet our customer specification
· Driving operational performance in your line including Productivity (e.g. prep yield, kg/ man hr and packing speeds) and quality KPI’s
• Previous experience in a food production environment is preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Must be punctual and reliable
